The Clark County Comprehensive Plan 2040 was adopted by the County Commission on October 3rd, and is set to begin guiding decision makers on the future of Clark County! The full plan can be found using the link below.

The County is developing a 20-Year Comprehensive Plan that will identify goals, policies and action steps to guide growth and development. The County needs your help and invites you to participate in this public open house to share your feedback on the Draft Vision, Goals, Plan Elements & Objectives. Bring the entire family and stop by for as little as 15 minutes to participate and learn more!
The meeting will be held on February 11, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Clark County Courthouse (501 E. Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). This meeting will be held on the fourth floor.
Last week we held the first kick-off public workshop at Henryville Jr Sr High School. If you weren’t able to attend, no worries! Come to New Washington Middle High School this Thursday between 5 and 7 pm to participate in the visioning phase of the Clark County Comprehensive Plan. It will be an open house format where you can bring the family and provide input in as little as fifteen minutes!

The Clark County Comprehensive Plan will serve as a guiding document for policy and decision makers over the next 20 years. The plan will analyze the existing conditions of today, incorporate future needs of the every changing population and economy, and reflects the values and vision identified by the community collectively. The plan kicked-off in the fall of 2018 and is anticipated to be formally adopted in the summer of 2019. In the mean time the County needs your help to provide ideas and feedback.
